According to Rojava local media, Turkish backed groups bombarded the villages “ Samoqa, Tel Unab, and Zewan, in Shabhayan canton, located in East and Northern Syria. The bombardment has caused fear and anxiety among the region’s inhabitants.

Though the villagers expressed their concerns about becoming targets, Rojava media did not report casualties.

Turkey calls Rojava a “corridor of terror”, referring to the strip of land on the Turkish border governed by Kurds of Syria. On the pretext of harboring terrorists, Ankara frequently targets villages, communities, cities, and individuals in Rojava.
